Even offline

Biometric consent

The working week
Normal working time may not exceed 40 hours a week. SmartTime warns you about it when you build a schedule.

Frequently asked questions
Which terminals does it work with?
Hikvision (ISAPI), Dahua (HTTP CGI and RPC2) and ZKTeco (ADMS/PUSH). We check your model and firmware for compatibility during the demo.
Do we need to replace our terminals?
No. SmartTime connects to the terminals you already have and imports the users enrolled on them, matching them with your employees.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The gateway in your office keeps punches in a local queue and sends them once the connection is back. Missed events are also backfilled from the terminal’s memory. The mobile app likewise keeps a punch made offline.
Where is the data stored?
In the cloud edition — in a data centre in Uzbekistan. On-prem — entirely on your own server.
Is it legal to use face images?
A face image is biometric data, and processing it requires the employee’s consent. SmartTime records that consent: without it, the photo never reaches a terminal. Cards, a PIN or a QR badge work as alternatives.
Does it work with 1C?
Yes. Timesheet and payroll data export as CSV for 1C, and the bank registry and pay sheet export to Excel.
Is there an iPhone app?
The Android app is ready now, and the iOS version is coming soon. The Telegram bot works on any phone.
Can someone cheat with mock GPS?
The app detects mock locations, rooted phones and emulators, and runs a selfie with a liveness check. A suspicious punch is not counted — it goes to a manager for review.
Are night shifts and 2/2 schedules handled correctly?
Yes. A night shift belongs to the day it starts, and hours between 22:00 and 06:00 are counted separately. Rotations (2/2, 3/3), 24-hour duty and flexible schedules are supported.
How is payroll calculated?
From the approved timesheet: salary, hourly, daily or piece rates; overtime, night and holiday coefficients; personal income tax, INPS and social tax; advances. You can open the formula behind any amount.
Can we fine employees for being late?
Only through the disciplinary procedure: an explanation request, an order and acknowledgement, within the legal limit. The alternative is bonus-reduction rules announced in advance. SmartTime supports both.
How does a rollout start?
After a demo and a short call we draw up a plan: connecting terminals, importing employees, setting up schedules and a trial period. We train your team.
Which languages are supported?
The web dashboard, mobile app and Telegram bot work in Uzbek, Russian and English. Each user picks their own language.
